1. Who this covers

This policy is issued by OFF THE TOOLS (ABN 98693284525) ("OFF THE TOOLS", "we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It covers information we collect through https://www.ptyunlimited.com.au, by phone, email, SMS, messaging apps and in person.

2. What we collect

Contact details — your name, phone number, email address and the address of the property we are working on.

Job details — what you have asked us to quote or do, photos and notes from site visits, access instructions, and anything you tell us about the property.

Payment details — invoicing and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

Website and messaging data — pages visited, the form fields you complete, and messages you send us. If you call our business number, calls may be recorded for training and record-keeping, and you will be told at the start of the call where that applies.

3. Why we collect it

To quote for, schedule, carry out and invoice your work; to send you booking confirmations, reminders and updates; to issue compliance certificates where the law requires; to answer your questions; to keep the records the law and our insurers require; and, with your consent, to let you know about services or offers you may find useful. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the link or reply option in the message, or by contacting us.

4. Who we share it with

The people who do the work — our staff and any subcontractor we engage for your job. Our suppliers, where a product warranty or order needs your details. Service providers that run our systems: job management, scheduling, email and SMS, phone, payments and accounting. Where a job is arranged through a real estate agent, strata manager or builder, we share what is needed to complete and bill the job with them.

We do not sell personal information. We only disclose it where this policy says, where you agree, or where the law requires it.

5. Where it is stored and how it is kept safe

Our job management software and communications run on cloud services that may store data in Australia and overseas. We use providers with appropriate security, restrict access to people who need it for their work, and keep records only for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations (typically seven years for financial and compliance records).

6. Cookies and analytics

This website may use cookies and similar tools for analytics and, where enabled, advertising measurement, so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. You can block cookies in your browser; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing at any time. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will look into it and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

8. Contact and changes

You can contact us by email jacob@ptyunlimited.com, phone 0409 422 256, post: 3/ 490 The Boulevarde, Kirrawee, NSW, 2232.
